What We Do
We sell pet-lover themed apparel, and in turn, we donate to local animal shelters. We feel like we can make a larger impact that way. By selling apparel, we generate walking advocates for the animal and pet culture and support local shelters that are already fulfilling purposeful missions we believe in. We’re not just helping save animals and improve their quality of life – we are creating a culture, a lifestyle – that believes in and demonstrates the valuing of animals.

Why We Do It
We founded Higher Paws in early 2019. As lifetime animal lovers and pet owners, we knew that we filled our own pets – companions – with an immense amount of love. But we felt pained that there were dogs and cats out in the streets or in shelters lacking the love, attention, and care they deserve. We wished we could fill our homes with every stray and adoption-needing dog and cat in the Greater Philadelphia area. We wished we could give them all a home, give them all love, and give them all sustenance. While it’s not realistic for 2 people to save all the animals, it is realistic for a group of pet-lovers. And with that realization, we launched Higher Paws. Together, we can change the world and make an impact, while looking good doing it!
Who We Do It For
Jaxon is a bubbly, vocal, and loving Australian cattle dog, red heeler. He brings everyone together (furry or not) and makes sure to keep the pep going from the dog park to home. He ACTIVELY watches TV and provides plenty of commentary through barking and noises. A snuggler by night and a party animal by day, Jaxon will always bring a smile to those he meets. Jaxon was rescued in 2015.
Daisy is a sweet, snuggly pit mix, who just wants to love and be loved. She enjoys rolling around in the grass and playing with her puppy friends. She's admittedly a bit spoiled, and her favorite spot is snuggled up, under the covers, next to her mama. Daisy was rescued in 2015.
This puppy, D'arce keeps a smile on everyone’s face through his goofy actions (tripping up the stairs) and his floppy ears. He has a heart of gold and is always willing to snuggle in the most awkward positions. It doesn’t matter if you are a stranger, he will make sure you know he wants your love and wants you to snuggle him. D'arce was rescued in 2018.
This little guy, Louie thinks he is a dog and has a big personality. He has the purrfect balance of playfulness and endearment. He is very calm and loving by day, and becomes extremely playful and mischievous by night. He loves his dog brothers very much and thinks it is quite fun to tease them. Louie was rescued in 2015.
If you’re not a cat lover, Lucy will SURELY change your mind. She is a very calm and loveable cat who loves her treats and food just as much as she loves a good snuggle session. Let’s be honest, every animal has a trait that with training we’d love to fix, but Lucy is truly purrfect and reeks no playful havoc! Lucy was rescued in 2014.
